Shea Butter

The Origins

The majority of our shea butter comes from a women's cooperative in west Africa. The ripe nuts of the shea tree are collected after they have fallen, the green peel is removed, the nuts dried and roasted, and then kneaded by hand to produce a soft malleable butter.

The Science

Shea butter moisturises and conditions the skin, restoring its elasticity and offering limited protection against UV light.
